The Importance of Following Food Nutrition to the Body

In this world all the living things survive because of food that supplies the proper nutrients and calories to the body. So, in the absence of proper nutrition it can result to poor health and worst, death. So, the right diet or group of foods is essential to having a proper health by giving nutrients to the cells in the body. Food nutrition is known as the building blocks of the body system and it is made up all the nutrients that the body needed. If the proper nutrition is not met then it can result to more serious body condition which is, obesity, diabetes, some flawed in one’s metabolism and worst of all is the deficiency in a person’s immune system. If these diseases occur it might lead to a more serious illness because the body has no natural defense against the diseases. In addition, there are six basic nutrients in the proper food nutrition that each and individual body needs in order to fight off diseases and survive further illnesses. There is a food nutrition chart that shows us the amount of nutrition one food has, in every serving that we consume.

The Six Essential Component of the Food Nutrition
The following are the six basic parts that comprises the proper food nutrition: vitamins and minerals, water, carbohydrates, fats and protein. The first food nutrient is of course, water since it is the main component of every individual body. Water helps the body to function by making it hydrated 24/7. On the other hand, fats also composed of important fatty acids, just like omega3 and are naturally expected to be saturated or unsaturated. So, it’s of utmost important to stay away from food with saturated fat which happened to be found in the form of oil or butter. In addition, carbohydrates, one kind of food nutrient, this nutrient act as the energy-giving food. And if one has excess energy, this energy is stored as fats. One good thing about carbohydrate, is that it helps lessen the level of blood sugar in the body.

Protein is a kind of food nutrient that act as the builder of the body’s tissue. Protein is mainly associated with the growth of the muscle, despite the fact that is also helps in the building of some of the bone tissue as well as the other parts of the body. Moreover, the other food nutrients known as vitamins and minerals plays an important role in ensuring that all other functions of the body are working properly. One example is calcium, is helps make bones and teeth strong, iron on the other hand, is important to help build a good number of red blood cells in the body. The Vitamin A and c help in the performance of the body’s immune system as well as the hearing and eye sight. And vitamin B functions in the processing of calories in food into energy.

All these food nutrients that are mentioned are essential in maintaining the body to function properly however it is not always the case since some nutrients don’t always taken form food. But still, it is best to consume food in order to get the proper nutrients such as vitamin and mineral supplement and some protein shakes as well as the other form of supplements that can help the body acquire the right amount of nutrients needed for the daily consumption.
